Getting started with paragliding is easy and can very quickly turn into an amazing adventure for a lifetime. Nowadays, more and more sport active persons wish to spent time in an interesting way, surrounded by nature. Flying like birds will give you a sense of freedom and a dose of adrenaline too. THERMAL PERFORMANCE
Since December 2022, with excellent results in 10 editions, we have been organizing thermal coaching weeks for beginners and low-airtime pilots who have wished to jump to a higher level of self-confidence and improve their skills in active flying and thermaling. Most of our adepts are arriving just after their pilot's licence exam and have a very small experience in paragliding. 50% of them flew only soaring and never had the oportunity to fly in thermal conditions. We also take care of the pilots that are returning to paragliding sport after longer time break. Especially this group needs an introduction with refresh of the ground handling skills. We offer comprehensive training adjusted to individual needs of each of our adepts.
You will be flying under the instructor supervision, with radio back-up and coach in flight. Flying area will be determined by current weather conditions and pilot's level. However, the very important aspect during this training is to keep you in a safe environment with easy accessible launch sites, multiple landing possibilities and smooth to mid-strong thermal conditions. This training will give you the knowledge and new skills and as well will prepare you mentally for the next big step, active thermal flying, which will help you to become an independent and confident pilot.

PROGRAM
Day 1: SET UP DAY: safety briefing, active flying and mental state. "Warm up" ground handling & flying. Debriefing.
Day 2: Thermal performance. Flying. Debriefing.
Day 3: Thermal performance. Flying. Debriefing.
Day 4: Thermal performance. CHALLENGE FLIGHT. Debriefing.
Day 5: Thermal performance. CHALLENGE FLIGHT. Debriefing with appetizer party.
REQUIREMENTS
- pilot licence minimum IPPI 3, APPI 3, BHPA CP or equivalent
- pilot with IPPI 2, APPI 2, BHPA EP or without licence with flight book
- insurance: 3rd party liability, recommended: travel accident insurance
- checked and certified equipment (glider, harness, rescue parachute, helmet, radio)
- good protective boots, appropriate outfit (warm, cold)
- good take-off and landing skills
- completed application form
- photo/copy of: ID, pilot licence, 3rd liability insurance, other insurance
